Accessibility Statement
Our Commitment
RxSure is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
This website partially conforms to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, with the exceptions listed in the Known Limitations section below. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more user-friendly for everyone.

NHS Accessible Information Standard
We have read and considered the NHS Accessible Information Standard. We are committed to ensuring that people who have a disability, impairment, or sensory loss receive information they can access and understand, and that they receive appropriate support to help them communicate effectively with our platform and services.

- Google Lighthouse — automated accessibility scoring (Chrome DevTools)
- axe DevTools — detailed WCAG 2.1 violation detection (Deque Systems)
- WAVE — visual accessibility evaluation (WebAIM)
- Manual keyboard testing — tab order, focus management, skip links
- Screen reader testing — VoiceOver (macOS), NVDA (Windows)
- Colour contrast analysis — WebAIM Contrast Checker against WCAG AA (4.5:1 minimum)
Testing was conducted across the public-facing website (rxsure.co.uk). Clinical portals are assessed separately.
Known Limitations
While the majority of this website conforms to WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the following specific non-conformances have been identified:
- WCAG 1.1.1 (Non-text Content): Some older PDF documents may lack proper text alternatives. Remediation target: Q3 2026 — all PDFs to be updated with accessible alternatives.
- WCAG 1.3.1 (Info and Relationships): Some third-party embedded content (e.g., Google Maps, booking widgets) may not fully convey structural information to assistive technologies. Remediation target: Q3 2026 — alternative text descriptions and ARIA labels to be added.
- WCAG 4.1.2 (Name, Role, Value): Some complex interactive components (e.g., cookie consent banner, dynamic pricing toggles) may not fully expose their state to screen readers. Remediation target: Q4 2026 — to be addressed as part of WCAG 2.2 upgrade.
We are committed to resolving these issues and continuously improving the accessibility of our content.
