RxSure was built to solve a specific problem that pharmacist independent prescribers face across the United Kingdom: the lack of a single, joined-up platform that handles every part of running a private clinical service. Before RxSure, most pharmacies relied on a mix of paper records, spreadsheet appointment logs, separate payment terminals, and manual compliance record keeping that consumed hours of admin time every week. Our platform brings together online patient booking, guided clinical consultations with built-in safety checks (including 38 pre-built PGDs, IP consultations, and private consultations with 52 AI templates), electronic clinical document generation, integrated payment processing through Stripe or PayPal, and a full compliance dashboard that keeps your practice ready for Care Quality Commission (CQC) and GPhC inspections. From a single community pharmacy to a group of clinic locations, RxSure grows with your practice and helps you deliver safe, efficient, and profitable private clinical services. Trusted by 100+ pharmacies, RxSure is ready when you are, so start exploring the questions below or begin your free one-month trial today.
Getting Started
RxSure is a digital compliance and practice management platform for UK pharmacies and private clinics. Manage consultations with built-in safety checks across 38 pre-built PGDs, IP prescribing workflows, and private consultations backed by 52 AI templates, generate inspection-ready documentation, track staff training, and accept payments, all from one dashboard used by 100+ pharmacies.
RxSure is built for independent community pharmacies offering private clinical services, pharmacy groups managing multiple locations, pharmacist Independent Prescribers (IPs), locum pharmacists working across multiple pharmacies, and private clinics covering aesthetic, weight management, and travel health services. If any of those describe you, the platform is ready to fit your workflow.
Getting started takes four steps: sign up for a one-month free trial (no credit card required), set up your pharmacy profile and services, invite your team members, and start running consultations. Our onboarding team will guide you through the whole process, so you are live and taking bookings quickly.
No. There are no setup fees, no hidden costs, and no credit card required to start. You get full access to the platform for one month, completely free, so you can test every feature before you commit.
Private Clinical Services
The best private clinical software for UK pharmacies should cover the full workflow: patient booking, guided clinical consultations, electronic clinical document generation, payment processing, and General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) compliance management. RxSure is the only platform that includes all of these in one system, with 38 pre-built PGDs, 52 AI templates, a flat monthly fee, and no per-service charges. See our full 2026 comparison for a detailed review of all options.
UK pharmacies use a range of options for private clinical services, from simple clinical document generators through to full practice management platforms. RxSure is the most complete option, covering booking, consultations, clinical records, payments, and compliance in one platform used by 100+ pharmacies. Read our guide on how to choose clinical management software for detailed evaluation criteria.
Some platforms offer free clinical document generation. However, free tools usually only cover document creation, so you still need separate paid tools for patient booking, consultations, payments, and compliance management. RxSure offers a one-month free trial of the full platform, which often works out more cost-effective than piecing together free and paid tools.
Private clinical software removes handwriting errors, saves 3 to 5 minutes per consultation, creates automatic audit trails for GPhC compliance, joins up booking and payments, and provides secure digital storage. Paper records are still used but introduce risks at scale. Read our detailed comparison of software vs paper records.
Digital Clinical Workflows
Digital clinical workflows are the process of generating, managing, and issuing private clinical documents digitally rather than on paper. Practitioners use clinical management software to create legally valid electronic clinical records with patient details, medication information, dosage instructions, and digital signatures. Read our complete guide to digital clinical workflows.
Yes. Electronic private clinical records are fully legal in the UK provided they contain all required information under the Human Medicines Regulations 2012: practitioner details, patient details, date, medication details (name, form, strength, quantity, directions), and practitioner signature. Read more about electronic private clinical records requirements.
In the UK, electronic private clinical documents can be issued by General Medical Council (GMC)-registered doctors, GPhC-registered independent prescriber pharmacists, General Dental Council (GDC)-registered dentists, Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)-registered nurse independent prescribers, and supplementary prescribers working within an agreed Clinical Management Plan.
Essential compliance features include automatic audit trails for every consultation and clinical record, guided clinical templates with safety checks, pre-screening questionnaires, GP notification letters, a compliance dashboard for GPhC inspection readiness, staff training and CPD tracking, and GDPR-compliant data storage. Read our GPhC compliance guide for the full checklist.
Pricing & Plans
We offer three plans. Pharmacy costs £199 per month for all-in-one private clinical services for community pharmacies and includes a one-month free trial. Clinic costs £199 per month for private GP, aesthetic, and specialist clinics and also includes a one-month free trial. Enterprise is custom pricing for pharmacy groups and multi-site operators.
No, never. 100% of the revenue from your private services goes directly to you. Payments go straight to your own Stripe or PayPal account. We only log transactions for your records, and we never touch your money.
After your free trial you have three options: continue on your Pharmacy or Clinic plan at £199 per month, add the Professional Website add-on if you need one, or export your data if you decide not to continue. We will send reminders before your trial ends, so there are no surprises on the billing side.
Yes. There are no long-term contracts, and you can cancel your subscription at any time. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of your billing period, and you can export all your data before you leave.
Regulatory Compliance
RxSure keeps you ready for inspections through complete audit trails with every action logged and timestamped, built-in safety controls with automatic contraindication blocks and warnings, a compliance dashboard that shows your status at a glance with expiry alerts, training and competency tracking for staff certifications, DBS, insurance, and CPD, and professional documentation generated automatically for both GPhC and Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspections.
RxSure is a software platform, not a pharmacy, so we do not require GPhC registration. However, we have built the platform to support pharmacies in meeting all 9 GPhC Standards for Pharmacy Professionals. Our questionnaires and workflows are designed around clinical guidelines and regulatory requirements set by bodies such as the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) and the British National Formulary (BNF).
Yes. RxSure provides inspection-preparation documentation including complete consultation records with timestamps, staff training and competency records, DBS and insurance tracking, incident management logs, and consent documentation. You can generate compliance reports on demand for any time period, which makes GPhC and CQC visits far less stressful.
Data Protection
All data is stored on secure UK-based servers. We use industry-standard encryption (AES-256) both in transit and at rest. Your patient data never leaves the UK, which keeps you aligned with UK GDPR requirements and Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) expectations.
Yes. RxSure is fully compliant with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), registration number ZB261485. We process data only as needed and give you the tools to manage patient consent and handle data subject requests.
Yes. You can export all your data at any time in standard formats. Your data belongs to you, and we make it easy to take it with you if you ever decide to leave, so there is no lock-in.
We retain records in line with GPhC pharmacy regulations. Patient consultation records are kept for a minimum of 10 years, or until the patient reaches 25 for minors. You can configure retention policies to match your own clinical governance requirements.
Platform Capabilities
RxSure supports a wide range of private clinical services, backed by 38 pre-built PGDs and 52 AI templates. These cover travel vaccinations (Typhoid, Hepatitis A/B, Yellow Fever and others), flu vaccinations, weight management consultations, sexual health services, minor ailments consultations, and blood pressure monitoring. You can also customise services and templates to fit the needs of your practice.
Yes. Our guided clinical templates follow clinical guidelines, and you can adapt questionnaires to match your pharmacy's specific protocols. You can add, modify, or remove questions as needed, while keeping the compliance requirements set out by the GPhC and NICE intact.
We are actively building integrations with major PMR systems. For now, RxSure runs as a standalone platform for private clinical services, alongside your existing NHS workflow. If you have specific integration requirements, please contact us to discuss your needs.
Yes. RxSure supports multi-pharmacy access for locum pharmacists. Practitioners can be invited to multiple pharmacy accounts while keeping separate audit trails for each location. This works well for locums and pharmacist IPs who cover different sites across the week.
