Our Story

RxSure was founded in Manchester by a team of pharmacist independent prescribers who saw first-hand how difficult it was to run private clinical services compliantly. The paperwork was overwhelming, the governance requirements were complex, and the available tools were not built for the reality of community pharmacy practice.

We built RxSure to solve our own problem first. The platform started as an internal tool, a way for our founding team to manage consultations, generate audit trails, and stay on the right side of GPhC requirements without drowning in admin. It worked. So we opened it up to other practitioners.

Today, RxSure is trusted by over 100 practitioners across the United Kingdom. The platform handles everything from patient booking and clinical pre-screening to consultation management, secure payments, and automated compliance documentation. Every feature has been shaped by real pharmacy workflows, tested in real pharmacies, and refined based on practitioner feedback.

Who Built RxSure?

RxSure was built by a team of pharmacists, healthcare technology specialists, and regulatory compliance professionals based in Manchester. The founding team brings decades of combined experience in community pharmacy, independent prescribing, platform engineering, and healthcare operations.

Every clinical feature in the platform has been designed and validated by active GPhC-registered pharmacist independent prescribers. The team maintains an advisory board of academic and clinical experts who contribute to ongoing platform development, clinical governance, and regulatory alignment.

Authors and Reviewers: All content on the RxSure website is written by members of the RxSure team and reviewed by GPhC-registered pharmacist independent prescribers. Clinical content is reviewed by our Clinical Safety Officer before publication.

Sources Cited: Where we reference clinical guidelines, regulatory standards, or compliance requirements, we cite the relevant body directly, including the GPhC, CQC, NHS England, NICE, and the ICO. We do not publish clinical claims without a traceable source.

Review Cycle: All published content is reviewed at least annually and updated when regulations, platform features, or pricing change. The “Last Updated” date on each page reflects the most recent substantive edit.
